Reprogramming / Options

Below you can see most of the services we can provide you, to optimise your car’s engine.

STAGE 1 – Chiptuning

What exactly is Stage 1 Chip Tuning?
Stage 1 chip tuning involves adjusting the software parameters in the vehicle’s ECU. The ECU controls essential functions such as the air-fuel ratio, ignition timing, and boost pressure. By optimizing these parameters, the engine can operate more efficiently and generate more power and torque than the original factory settings.

Purely Software-Based: The essence of Stage 1 is that it is purely a software-based optimization. You do not need to replace any components such as the exhaust, air filter, or injectors.
Safety: When performed by qualified professionals who write custom software based on your original data, Stage 1 is considered a safe method that will not shorten the engine’s lifespan.

STAGE 2 – Chiptuning

Software modification: Like Stage 1, the engine parameters (fuel, ignition, boost pressure) are adjusted, but now optimized for the new hardware.
Hardware upgrades: This is the crucial difference. It often includes:
Downpipe: Replacing the standard downpipe (often with a catalytic converter) with a performance version for improved exhaust gas flow.
Intake system: High-flow air filter or a complete performance intake system for more cold air.
Intercooler (optional): A larger intercooler cools the intake air better, resulting in a denser air mass and increased power.
Other upgrades: Stronger spark plugs/coils, and sometimes modifications to injectors or fuel pumps.
Custom tuning: Because every car and combination of upgrades is unique, Stage 2 tuning is always custom-made, performed on a dyno.

STAGE 3 – Chiptuning
TORQUE LIMITER – (enable / disable)

Have you ever felt like your gearbox is holding back your power when you’re tuning an engine? Most gearboxes have a built-in torque limiter.

However, with our Torque Limiter Remove reprogramming service, you can raise all the torque limits in your gearbox while still ensuring the stability and integrity of all the mechanical components.

ADBLUE / SCR – (enable / disable)

With the increase of cars being equipped with this option in order to obtain a reduction of NOx emissions, as this element is expensive to maintain by car owners and with the increase of customers’ requests, we decided to add this as an reprogramming option for you.

AGS – (enable / disable)

The Active Grille Shutter (AGS) is a mechatronic system that performs a key function of selectively allowing or restricting airflow with an automatic opening and closing of shutters based on real-time needs.

The most common problem is actuator fault or the need to remove all the system in order to create room for an intercooler upgrade. When this happens, the vehicle gives MIL (Malfunction Indication Lamp)- warning problems related to system management of the shutters.

By choosing a reprogramming of our services, that system will no longer give any malfunction warnings at all.

BMS / BPCM – (enable / disable)

BMS (Battery Management System) / BPCM ( Battery pack control module) is the unit responsible for the management of critical features such as voltage, temperature and current monitoring, battery state of charge (SoC) and cell balancing of lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries.

When this unit detects some anomaly with the battery, like under voltage cell capacity, triggers a safe mode that stops the car from starting and battery charging event. Even when the battery is changed, this unit keeps raising the problem which causes replace by a new unit from manufactures.

In those situations, BMS/BPCM Recovery Reprogramming, as usual with, will allow the costumers to restore BMS/BPCM units, without needing to replace it for a new one.

BOOST SENSOR – (calibration)

When a harder tune is required by customers, one of the first parts to be changed is the boost pressure sensor and, of course, when you change it, it is needed to change some settings for it in ECU firmware too. This can sometimes be tricky, as some maps are hard to find and require a good level of knowledge.

We can make that job easy. For that, you only need to choose what sensor you are going to install. The sensor is now re-calibrated on the ECU for the new correct value.

BURBLES / CRACLES / POPCORN – (activation)

The name burbles/crackles is in fact the slang name for overrunning the fuel cut off (FCO), basically by adjusting the delay of the FCO and some other modification, its possible to make your car sound different, more sportive and more aggressive.

Obviously, to use our recalibration option, we recommend using it in cars equipped with a special exhaust pipe.

COLD START NOISE – (reduction)

We all know the noise of the engine when we start the car and we can hear, while the catalytic converter is getting hot and the cold start is acting, the noise youf our car sounds different, but, if we can eliminate this, why not do it?

DPF / FAP – (enable / disable)

With this reprogramming option, deactivation of all DPF/FAP related maps and allows us to run a car without having DPF/FAP installed in it.

We have been working hard to keep this option updated to most recent cars and to assure the best result.

DTC [ FAULTCODES ] – (enable / disable)

DTC remove reprogramming allows to remove individual error codes from ECU. It’s very useful when our customers want to remove some parts from electronic systems such as EGR, intake flaps, etc.

we can make for our customer’s job as simple as possible and effective.

EGR – (enable / disable)

Exhaust gas recirculation valves were introduced in the car market as a way to reduce gas emissions. Manufacturers created a way to recirculate already burned exhaust gases over to intake manifold in order to be re-burned and this way lowering their emissions. This is basically the function of a EGR valve.

The main problem of this concept is that this exhaust gases bring a lot of engine oils and fumes, that after some time tend to block the intake manifold lowering its efficiency dramatically.

Our disable options allows the car owners to close the EGR valve all the time, avoiding the build up of dirt in intake manifold and all troubles associated with it.

EVAP – (enable / disable)

The Evaporative Emission Control System (EVAP) is used to prevent gasoline vapors from escaping into the atmosphere from the fuel tank and fuel system. The most common problem with the EVAP canister is a faulty purge control that causes serious problems.

Reprogramming with this module solution combined with readiness EVAP system, the vehicle will not have any errors in future anymore

EXHAUST FLAPS – (enable / disable)

The Exhaust Flap is a valve installed in the final muffler and this part biggest objective is reducing the noise in a cold start condition. When this reprogramming solution is applied the valve will be open in any condition.

This is also a valid option when final muffler is removed. In some VAG vehicles, this valve is also controlled by selecting the Sport Mode.

FLAPS / SWIRL – (enable / disable)

Knowing that some cars have issues with the Flaps / Swirl and the repair costs being high, most commonly seen on some VAG group cars, we created this reprogramming option to allow our customers to simply deactivate the flaps by disconnecting them and removing its functionality, this way fixing problems in many vehicles, saving their car owners from spending a lot of money on a new unit.

OPF / GPF – (enable / disable)

GPF/ OPF/ PPF are the current names for an emission after-treatment technology developed to control emissions of gasoline direct injection engines.

With our reprogramming option you will be free for any engine lamps and safety-mode will be also not being any issue anymore. So also the safe-mode will be disabledf or all/future.

HOT START – (calibration)

As we all know, after some time of usage and some kilometers done, some cars develop a hot start problem and customers complain that engine turns more times now that it used to turn before, so the car starts. After this, problems appear in battery (it will drain battery much quicker) and it will cause starter problems and all related parts will also be affected.

We developed this reprogramming option, so that this problem does not occur anymore in the future, saving your car from more problems.

IMMOBILISER – (enable / disable)

Immobilizer is a very important part of newer cars electronics. They assure that the car cannot be stolen and offer some degree of protection to users, but some issues related with it are now a problem in many of today’s cars and customers need to pay for a brand new ECU when something goes wrong. Car owners also face some troubles when these problems happen. They are forced to use a new original ECU so they can fix it.

With our brand new development, our customers will be able to use another ECUs on their cars just and remove the immobilizer.

LAMBDA [ 02 ] – (enable / disable)

This reprogramming option will allow customers to remove lambda errors when a new cat is fitted or when it’s removed.

We hope with this new reprogramming options meets some of our customers demands.

MAF MANAGE – (enable / disable)

MAF deactivation is not by any means recommended as it is a very important sensor for fuel regulation. But sometimes (normally on high powered tuned cars) the MAF reading hits the high value and reaches maximum allowed voltage read by its sensor, creating a fault code registration and normally a safe-mode.

With our reprogramming option it will be possible for customers to simply disconnect the MAF and the car will run without any safe mode and can achieve more power without any concerns of having additional problems.

READINESS CALIBRATION –  (programming)

The Readiness Code is a set of 8 bits, each of which corresponds to one monitored emissions “system” in a vehicle with OBD-II.

When all readiness bits show “Passed”, it means that all systems have been checked and the vehicle passed the on-board tests.

SAP – (enable / disable)

The secondary air injection system exists to help clean up the left-overs on the exhaust. It’s a valve that alows to get fresh air from the inlet manifold and sends it directly to exhaust.

The main problem is that the valve itself, with such a hard work for many times, tend to fail.

With our reprogramming option, the  SAP disable, you can easily delete this component without any secondary problems anymore.

SOFT REV LIMITER – (calibration)

A soft rev limiter is a functionality that can be implemented in modern cars.

This feature is unique to each car and it will be setup to match the car’s absolute rpm-limiter, in order to protect the engine.

By default a modern car limits the maximum rpm (revolutions per minute) of the engine, when it is in Neutral/Park mode. However, removing this limiter can have some advantages for certain tuning enthusiasts.

One of the benefits you may experience when disabling this soft rev limiter is being able to hear the results of Burbles or Popcorn in Neutral/Park mode, something that may be impossible for some modern cars, since the soft rev limiter usually kicks in before the aforementioned modules can take effect.

Another benefit is an enhanced engine sound and being able to hit the car’s natural rev limiter even at a standstill.

SPEED LIMITER – (enable / disable)

As the name says, this reprogramming option allows tuners / car enthousiasts to remove speed limit that manufacturers introduce in many cars.

We are able to disable this limiter for our customers.

START / STOP – (enable / disable)

Everybody knows that sometimes startstop can be very annoying, as everytime the car is driven, it has to be switched off to avoid car switching itself off.

With this module, startstop function stays inactive so the car will behave its combustion engine on all the time, and the driver doesn’t need to worry anymore to disable this function everytime manually.

TORQUE MONITORING – (enable / disable)

As you know, in newer Engine Management System, many tuners face now a new problem, the Torque Monitoring function. We can reprogram the Engine Management System. If the values of Torque are inconsistent with predefined ones and this will make the car go into safe mode when apparently all is OK.

Well after many requests, we provided to our customers a workaround to this.

With our reprogrammin will be allowed everyone to tune a car and stop being worried about this feature contained in most modern Engine Management Systems.

TVA – (enable / disable)

Throttle valve actuators regulate the air or mixture supplied for the combustion engine.

Depending on the engine concept, this serves different purposes. In the case of petrol engines, speed and power output are regulated by means of fresh air or mixture dosing. Diesel engines generally do not need a throttle valve. However, in modern diesel cars, throttling the amount of intake air facilitates precision control for Exhaust Gas Recirculation and stops the engine from shaking when the ignition is switched off.

The TVA is often linked to many problems by our customers.
